Rigid chassis and damper
The main PCB is secured on a rigid metal chassis, preventing deformation from strong impacts. A damping mechanism is also used to absorb repeated impacts on the main PCB. The design is capable of withstanding drops from 2 m 6.6′ as well as 20000 repeated impacts from 30 cm 0.98′.
Highly durable rubber bumper
The optional rubber bumper provides 3 m 9.8′ drop resistance, and the additional full-body protection also improves resistance to wear and tear.
IP65 Waterproof and Dustproof
KEYENCE’s superior sealing technology developed for sensors used in harsh environments achieves IP65 rating. The device can be used even when exposed to water and dust.
