Counter Sales App from Insight Works Now Available on Microsoft AppSource

Edmonton, AB, Canada, November 2, 2020 – Insight Works today announced the availability of Counter Sales on Microsoft AppSource, an online cloud marketplace providing tailored line-of-business solutions.

Insight Works offers a breadth of free and subscription-based apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Insight Works’ apps are tailored to the manufacturing and distribution industries.

Most recently, Insight Works launched the Counter Sales app. Counter Sales is an affordable and easy-to-use industrial point-of-sale solution built right into Dynamics 365 Business Central that enables organizations to quickly and easily add retail capabilities to their system. Counter Sales is packed with all the features you’d expect from a powerful point-of-sale system, but in a simple and cost-effective package.

“We designed Counter Sales for B2B and smaller retail operations, such as parts counters or outlet stores,” says Brian Neufeld, Director of Marketing for Insight Works. “Counter Sales provides a quick checkout process because it utilizes product barcodes to quickly scan items into Dynamics 365 Business Central. In addition to the checkout process, Counter Sales tracks lost sales and provides end-of-day reconciliation.”

Toby Bowers, General Manager, Business Applications Group, Microsoft Corp., said, “We’re happy to welcome another app from Insight Works to Microsoft AppSource, which gives our customers access to the best solutions available from our extensive partner ecosystem. Microsoft AppSource offers partner solutions such as Counter Sales from Insight Works to help customers meet their needs faster.”
