Edmonton, AB, Canada, January 22, 2019 –
Insight Works, a Canada-based Microsoft Partner and leader in Operational Productivity Improvement through the efficient implementation of add-ons for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, today announced the availability of its Advanced Inventory Count module on Microsoft AppSource, an online cloud marketplace providing tailored line-of-business solutions.
Advanced Inventory Count simplifies physical inventory counts with comprehensive data entry, reconciliation, posting and analysis tools, ultimately making life much easier for inventory managers. Now, such managers can easily perform manually-entered or barcoded inventory/cycle counts, automatically reconcile and post lot/serial number discrepancies, predefine count sheets or allow users to complete ad hoc inventory counts and much more.
“Our Advanced Inventory Count supports all location configurations, from non-mandatory bins to directed pick with warehouse item tracking,” explains Brian Neufeld, Insight Works’ Director of Marketing. “For non-barcoded counts, the system allows multi-user manual entry and the ability to add to count sheets on the fly, and that’s only the beginning.
“We’re proud that this Insight Works product – which enhances the physical inventory capabilities in Dynamics 365 Business Central to allow for comprehensive count sheet creation, advanced reconciliation analysis, multi-user count data entry and simplified journal posting – is now available on AppSource.”
Insight Works representatives point out that Advanced Inventory Count is not only about its myriad of rich features, but the real world benefits it brings to the distribution industry. Benefits include reduced inventory count resources by up to 90-percent, increased inventory accuracy, reduced inventory levels to reallocate capital and more – all by utilizing Advanced Inventory Count.
Kirsten Edmondson Wolfe, Senior Director, AppSource Product Marketing for Microsoft Corp., adds, “We’re excited to welcome Insight Works and its Advanced Inventory Count to Microsoft AppSource, which gives our partners great exposure to cloud customers around the globe. Microsoft AppSource offers partner solutions such as Advanced Inventory Count from Insight Works to help customers meet their needs faster.”
